I know very little about Islam and it sounds like it may be a good introduction to it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14226983.post-1142389520810601612006-03-15T03:25:00.000+01:002006-03-15T03:25:00.000+01:00No, there is no such thing as "fundamentalists" or...No, there is no such thing as "fundamentalists" or "fundamental believers" in Islam, that's a myth. You are either "with them" or against them. And if you don't support Islam, you are against Islam, even if you are a modest Arab living in Saudi Arabia trying to stay quiet and "just get by". Secular Islam is a fairy-tale and does not exist, a western misconception. The whole movement that Mohammed started, is a war machine with only one goal in mind: The "final solution" - namely the rule and or conversion of ALL infidels on this planet.
This is not my opinion, this is the teachings of Mohammed.
Read the Qur'an, and thy might be enlightened....
Yes, there are and were issues about Christianity - the Crusades surely don't leave a sweet flavor. But the bottom line is (and you don't even have to be "religious") Christianity never provoked the idea of a "final solution". (neither did Judaism by the way ... no punch intended).Zeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02046472160770720576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14226983.post-1142364051260688092006-03-14T20:20:00.000+01:002006-03-14T20:20:00.000+01:00I have just read a book titled The End of Faith, b...I have just read a book titled The End of Faith, by Sam Harris. In it he argues it's time to go beyond religion if we want to survive and flourish. He also examines some of the major religions, what havoc they've wreaked over the years (think Inquisition for example) and what fundamental beliefs in them might wreak today. His analysis of Islam is interesting...similar conclusions to yours (at least for fundamental believers).

Christianity doesn't fare much better.Garyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15148485566444804108noreply@blogger.com
