In a number of respects today with improved communications and growing awareness we are possibly in the best position ever to bring about better outcomes. In the next 40 years there will be a huge shift as poorer countries make giant strides and catch up to the west - particularly in Africa. Countries like China, India, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Egypt, Iraq, Mongolia, Nigeria, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Vietnam are likely to lead the way. The effect will be a huge transfer of power and resources which we are only just beginning to realize. North America's and Western Europe’s domination of world trade will fall away markedly to well below 20% as Asia’s share increases above 50%. <br />Best wisheslindsaylobehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16774918551798647046noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14226983.post-87275263864729374282011-02-23T20:16:42.965+01:002011-02-23T20:16:42.965+01:00I've been trying to think through what my beli...I've been trying to think through what my beliefs actually are for a while now.
