i am sorry, and I am not sorry

I haven't posted anything for a long while - and nothing really substantial in the recent past except for the human shit and tragedies you know all about already.  My mind has kind of come to a standstill with human stupidity. There is so much nonsense and pain human mammals inflict onto each other, it is almost unbelievable if it wasn't for real.  I come to believe that humans are the most stupid creatures on this earth/globe. I mean look at it, they kill for religious beliefs, money, survival and social status. It is absolutely ridicules. No squirrel in the woods or a cow on the meadow would act like that.
Do you get my point - we are the stupidest animal on this earth because we haven't learned to use our freedom to become a spiritual being which traverses unprotected and naked towards unity of being - freedom is the idiom of new consciousness here... but we are to lame to catch it.
So no, instead we act like stubborn beasts -- an just let it all slide by.

The 60's pop-group with the singer Jim Morrison (who actually was more a poet than a singer) - well, they put it this way: You are all in a ship of fools. I kind of subscribe to that image. Though truthfully - I jumped ship.

This post is mostly for Nova because she called me elusive and I could not let that sit on my non hairy chest.

be good, be strong and miraculously wise and intuitive -  Lukas

P.S.  Sorry that I can not produce gibberish nonsense for you all anymore

PPS. This was Christo's thing in Central Park NY

PPPPPPS - I do take seldom photographs these days - I mostly paint and I start an Art-therapy training  - that will be interesting. We will see how long I can stand to shut my mouth. But I need the paper - so I better shut up for real and wear a wet towel around my head and take notes with my eight dollar newly acquainted real ink fountain pen.
Don't you love it when it just glides and you do not have to type? Maybe I am old fashioned.

young hands

Back to clay. Did you know that substantial research has been done that links brain development and its success to the sensible use of the human hands during the years of bodily growth?
Anyhow, this batch of students are 10th graders, using their hands to shape a human head.
They are doing it in local clay from Massachusetts, a very fine product which comes without traces of metals (iron) or silica in it.
With all their testosterone and other evaporations which often end up in silly comments during class, I still love that bunch of young adults. Stretches of long periods of silent and concentrated work were actually also achievable.
Anyhow, I feel I do something real right now, something for the future.
If all goes like planed, I will vanish from the neck of my neighborhood and re-submerge on an island in Maine and work there for a few months; a therapeutic move. I will still stay in touch, just like Gary and a woman, who's name escaped my mind for now.

Sunday crash

Now it happened again, 60 miles per hour wind gusts and that lame tree decides to brake of a limb right into my garden the size of a sizable tree. What a mess!
So after my stamping shouts and fits, after I eased my mind, I went out to buy a brand new chain-saw. I debated back and forth if I should go with the Germans (Stihl) or the Swedes (Husqvarna). Well, the Sthil place was closed on Saturdays so that made my decision easier ... I went with the Swedes. So far I am happy, and I additionally was told from my friends that getting parts for the Husqvarna is easier. So there. But now I spend an other $360 I don't really have since the College I used to teach shut down the arts due to low enrollment and so my winter and spring semester of teaching was cut in its entirety. Mucho dollars gone! I am looking for a job, any job. Maybe stacking shelves in WallMart, who knows - I always was eager to experience the "inside story".
I am personally not a great fan of "pet pictures" or "baby pics" on blogs or webpages, they bore me to death. What do I care about your pets and or your screaming delightful offsprings! Anyhow, I'll make an exception today to the rule of thumb and post a picture of my cat. She is Persian you know, and she is an old lady. Perhaps therefore she should take the honor and have an appearance on this blog before she dies.

bye - bye ... I'll have to fly

Take good care my friends, it's a crazy world out there, beware! And I in the meantime will cross the ocean to tend to my crazy and needy mom, who all the time is so much too serious.
I need to work on smiles and laughter, cheer her up, and stay content myself.
See you when I come back,
cheers - Zee

not usually

Not usually I post pictures of my own family and also posed like this. Those pictures are quite boring, it is almost as bad as putting up pics of your pets. So why make this exception? Simple, my brother in law is leaving tomorrow and there are some blogger friends out there who actually know each of us in person- so it's for them. Marco is leaving tomorrow and it was a full-filled time, so there ..
Talking about leaving, I will leave next Saturday to tend to my mom in Switzerland. No blog updates during those following ten days.
I'll bring back a bunch of photos and stories though .... don't worry, not from my mom, the family picture book is closed for now.

the new generation

The new generation is just impatient, not forlorn
impatient with the old style - blow out the candle
put those issues to rest that bring us only scorn.
Lighten up the path instead with brightness to us unknown -
to us, who have struggled in the dark - clear out the fog, reveal a new morn'.

I must say, that at my daughters birthday yesterday, I revered her energy of optimism and positive outlook towards our future, an impulse that I can not easily generate myself anymore, perhaps an attitude that is lacking in general in our present grown-up outlook. It is refreshing to see this younger generation beholding the optimism that the world can still be as one. In our times, where fragmentation is the rule, I will cheer to this new generation who seeks to mend!
