harbor

While I am painting the house, I am also babysitting the house - and a dog, while the master is away. The dog is something else. When I go to bed, I usually sport an array of different blankets, layers to be fit for any kind of temperature change. The dog adds to the equation, snuggling under blankets wherever he can find them. At least he doesn't snore, like the majority of you!

Beautiful pictures in the last few posts and they reminded me, for some reason of Peter Mayers Blue Boat home even though he is not physically sailing, but in the spirit of things I thought you might like these lyrics. !

ARTIST: Peter Mayer
TITLE: Blue Boat Home
Lyrics
Though below me I feel no motion
Standing on these mountains and plains
Far away from the rolling ocean
Still my dry land heart can say
I've been sailing all my life now
Never harbor nor port have I known
The wide universe is the ocean I travel
And the Earth is my blue boat home

Sun, my sail and moon, my rudder
As I ply the starry sea
Leaning over the edge in wonder
Casting questions into the deep
Drifting here with my ship's companions
All we kindred pilgrim souls
Making our way by the lights of the heavens
In our beautiful blue boat home
I give thanks to the waves upholding me
Hail the great winds urging me on
Greet the infinite sea before me
Sing the sky my sailor's song
I was born upon the fathoms
Never harbor or port have I known
The wide universe is the ocean I travel
And the Earth is my blue boat home
The wide universe is the ocean I travel
And the Earth is my blue boat home

i thought my snoring was a secret.

It's not snoring, it's the gentle rhythm of breath exchanging a gift with the world.

you are full of shit Sera, snoring is like acupuncture on the wrong spots for the wrong reason. Snoring can bring you close (if not indoors) of an asylum.

Hi Zee - I'm about to delete a comment I posted a few days ago because I'd hate to think I made you feel sad for even one moment with a flippant remark. I hope you're enjoying some deep peace and relaxation between the times of working hard. Dogs are excellent company who help to keep us centered.
