Traps

My friend Jeff puts out traps for carnivores - they are called lobsters here. You'll see his traps stacked in the background of this picture. It was a foggy morn indeed! The fisherman makes about $6 a pound theses days (don't slap me if I get the numbers wrong). On a good day (those days haven't started yet), a Lobsterman can haul in worth $2,000, that's fair money, no? It will pay for the diesel and a few other things. The smart fellows save the excess income for the next winter months when work again is bound to be scarce. The less fortunate waste their money immediately, on ex-wife's, new microwave ovens, flat TV screen monitors and other clutter.
Blessed be the fog that surrounds them all. Fortunes to the one who makes it drift apart.

you are just jealous that I have found save passage through Mordor. I would show you the way, if you'd just let me, but you don't.

Mone - I have been here and there, but not much chatter on the net I'm afraid...
I am a bit disconcerted about what is going on in Lebanon the last few days, Radical wanna be Muslims are the trash of this world, destroying every fiber of what is left of sanity in the Middle East, gleefully hoping to change the world into a doomsday scenario, just like the right wing Christian coalition in the US is hoping for.
When do humans become humans again?

Calamity-
I love your occasional emails with all the funny stuff. But yes, this granite island has magic, Only sometimes you are able to touch it, but mostly you stay a common human being living from day to day.

Thanks Mr. *Z* -
I was getting tired of the old colors. Presently I have not much to say and posting pictures is all I manage. A gray background seems to work better.
Yes, it is peaceful here - but I am working physically hard every day which leaves me tired in the evening and less motivated to spend hours browsing blogs. Perhaps that is a good thing.
Cheers, Lukas

dear friend, as much as there is negativity there is an equal positivity in the world, it is a law it can't be 60% to 40%, it has to be 50% to 50%, the choice is ours where to look..
