Sorry for all the spelling mistakes - I have become sloppy.

A nice story about the relationship with your lovely daughter. I think the bond may even grow stronger in the years ahead. That’s simply based upon my experience of having 3 daughters, two of whom now have there own children. I also think it’s likely some of those annoying habits that drive you up the wall are likely to decrease as well! Either that or maybe it’s more a matter of fathers mellowing with age. I always dreaded meeting up with boyfriends, but my fears were unfounded as they all turned out to be such fine lads!!
Best wishes

i have 3 sons and a daughter. there have been times when i thought she was my only link to sanity, and other times when i thought she'd be the reason i lost it completely. fragile and indomitable, these girl children.

we'll miss you, Z. blessings, and safe journey.

Autumn Equinox, the first day of fall - what a cool day for a birthday and a tree climb and a swim in the creek. Must have been fun.

Enjoy your vacation, and see you in two weeks.

Hi, Zee. Safe travels. I look forward to reading more of you when you return!

She's a beautiful girl and brave too. The only way I get that far up a tree is if a bear is chasing me.

Have a good trip and get some rest from this overwrought environment.

congratulations on your daughter's birthday. The way you talk about her sounds really sweet and relaxed; heck, you're happy about her boyfriend. You and your wife (have you ever mentioned her name?? I don't want to keep referring to her as 'the/your wife' as she's more than that of course) did something right and aside from that, it's her own great personality that will guide her through life..count your lucky stars, we're still in the process of raising..phew..
happy trails,

Ingrid

don't apologise for loving your daughter. and i'm sure you drive her as crazy sometimes as she does you.
so why didn't you dive into the water with her?

Have a good trip and Happy Birthday to your mentor/teacher (I mean your daughter). Remember man, you're the bow and she's the arrow.
