Beta Blogger

I am sorry that some of my friends have problems to post...
I changed the comments not to be on a pop up window, maybe that will help a bit.
Don't know what else to do at this point besides waiting for Blogger to streamline the procedures. Perhaps you can clear your cache once in a while ... that seems to help also. You can also log in with just your own name instead of the blogger ID and put (optional) your blog address into the link field.

I guess it's "living one the edge" that makes Beta Blogger exciting. Nah, just kidding.
There are more options with "Beta". For example I can sort all my cynical posts, as well as the philosophical, political, admin, arts ... and so on.
Some editing is also easier though I still refer mostly to the html to correct things.
Anyhow, I changed the format now and I don't think it is wise to change back.

Actually, when you switch to Beta, going back to the old Blogger is not an option - because all your account/blog information has been permanently migrated and integrated into a "new" google account that is only compatible with Beta.

Besides introducing new features and upgrades in performance/security, the major reason for this transition to Beta is for blogger and all other Google services to eventually be consolidated into one master account.

Blogger is making this transition gradually, allowing only a small percentage of users to switch at a time (by invitation only), but switching to beta will eventually be compulsury for all users.

In the meantime, Beta blogger is still basically in a testing phase (hence the name Beta), so there will undoubtedly be a lot of bugs to be worked out before it becomes the norm.

Let's see what happens here.

I didn't have to do anything special. It's odd. Some blogs work fine and others don't.

Beta is not consistent yet.

works for me

I will not consider beta until they get more bugs worked out. Some have lost their entire blog for a couple of days before finally getting it back. That would throw me into a hissy fit.

Like I said, I'm having no trouble commenting here.

I have a beta account and only have problems commenting on non-beta blogs....eeek. Let's hope they sort it soon.

This blogsite really stinks -
you make one wrong move and
thirty lines are just gone
and no 'back' button
really helps to get
them back :-((

Why are you running a beta version
sunburst ?

Are you taking pleasure in artificially frustrating your commentators ? Just wondering
