Rain & Rain

I am stuck inwardly and outwardly. It has been raining so much, that all I can see when I step out the door are puddles - very depressing. On top of this my car doesn't shift into drive - perhaps a solenoid or maybe something else. If anyone out there knows how to override being stuck in "park" please let me know ASAP! In the mean time the hood collects flower pedals, sort off pretty, but doesn't presently do the trick for me. On top of this the "inspector" for the recycling bin enclosure came by yesterday and told me to reduce the top trim of my construct by an inch. That results in ripping all the Mahogany apart again, redo the frame and cut all the damn angle cuts anew. Well, I am almost done with that part, so there ...
In the mean time I still remain pissed, smoldering away.
Too much rain, no car, and broke.
Can't get better than that.

Very interesting comment Jan-Olof!
Either you're on acid or my intelligence just doesn't rise up to your level... or I am mentaly "rained out."

I had one car that let me turn the key and try for neutral but you've probably already tried that.

I can turn the key and start the engine Granny ... but then the trouble starts, it doesn't let me shift.
Damn electronics!
The combustion engine has been basically the same for almost a decade, no major improvements there. It is all the electrical stuff added in recent years that makes it almost impossible to work on todays vehicles.
Must be an other conspiracy ... LOL

I like the "reflection picture" a lot - but thanks, that is very kind of you to place a nice comment when I am in a grumpy mood.

Zee - well hello, my Dear!

I bought my first car two years ago - since NYC required no such such transportation - and I know how to shift from park to drive to reverse, turn the lights on, and the rain slashy things (wind shiled wiper?) - and voila. So no help to you there - but I know I make you smile so there ... ;-)

I spent a minute laughing at jan-olaf's comment and another minute at your reaction to it - too odd!

Your previous post is on a topic that is on my mind - but I try not to think too much for it causes me heart ache. But I will say - "exactement, je suis d'accord!" Root cause is key ...

I like the reflection, I like the Zee, I like the car temple of petalson ...

Are you keeping up with Switzerland?

"...je suis d'accord!" Haven't heard that one in a while.
Ah, since you are a doctor Nazli, I had great hopes that you could cure my car. But alas, it was not meant to be. Your skill has probably more to do with microbes and such ... not nuts and bolts.
( ... or most likely stupid electronic gadgets in an engine that goes brumm, brumm, brumm, brumm and would just do fine without them).

I've been there..the best car I've ever had was a crappy ugly old escort hatchback..straight drive..It never failed me ever!..
But god was it ugly..
The test was just a hoot..I hate being revealed for what i already know i am ..way too soft.
You could never be a monster..i SEE you mister.
